Reaching Out East is a peer led Disabled People’s Organisation working in Waltham Forest.

We offer a range of services to disabled and socially isolated people. We actively promote independence, choice,  improved life chances, more equality and increased social inclusion in our community for our members and for our peers.

We work to the social model of disability and see every person as an equally valuable individual. We aim to remove barriers people face because of their impairments or any other issues they face and  to enable our members to live as well and independently as possible with the support they need to do this.

We currently work with more than 2000 disabled and socially isolated people ourselves. We also work in collaborative partnership with a number of other charities locally and with Waltham Forest Council and our local Health Commissioners, NHS Waltham Forest Clinical Commissioning Group.
